Dame Pattie Breadcake runs a tight ship at the Sunken Poopdeck inn, keeping Hull’s maritime folk well lubricated.
But all that changes when veteran sailor Bill Bones stumbles into the pub and shares a mysterious map with her son and wannabe pirate, Jim.
Cue a departure from their humble life by the Humber, for the voyage of a lifetime, pursued by the tyrannical Long John Silver and his motley crew.
Will Jim and Pattie find Bill’s mythical island, to fill their pockets with jewels and gems galore? Or will they walk the plank to face certain doom, at the hands of Hull’s most perilous pirates?
Find out in Treasure Island, an anarchic, alternative Christmas night out, featuring live music and raucous comedy.
First performed at Fruit in 2011, the Middle Child panto is a homegrown hit, with a different story chosen every year by our audience.
Catch us down Humber Street this Christmas to kickstart a swashbuckling new tradition.
